Dragon fruit

A cactus native to Central America, known also as pitaya, pitahaya or strawberry pear. Now grown around the world. The fruits are rich in vitamins, iron, magnesium, antioxidants and fiber.

Although a cactus the dragon fruit still needs watering for fruits to grow well and large. Avoid over-watering and plant in free draining soil.

We have around 300 plants on Ytaya Fruit Valley farm.

We serve the fresh organic fruits in smoothies, juices and fruit salads in our restaurant at White Villas Resort.

And neighbour farmers
help look after the dragon fruits.
